Sonwil Transportation Non-Driver is Hiring a Billing Specialist Near Seneca, NY

Job Description:
Sonwil is hiring a Billing Specialist responsible for managing the day-to-day operational activities for Sonwil’s logistics and transportation billing department. This role will perform general billing functions and support the back-office operations in accordance with internal company policies.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Manage billing process, including receiving, auditing, indexing, and processing customer invoices
  • Reconcile billable rates across multiple systems to ensure accuracy and timely invoicing
  • Request necessary documents
  • Data entry
  • Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve related issues in billing, payables, and receivables
  • Maintain customer databases
  • Analyze billing reports and report inaccuracies and variances
  • Administrative tasks, projects and reports as assignedJob Requirements:
    • High School diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate degree in business, accounting or finance preferred
    • 2 years of experience in accounting/finance/business or logistics and transportation industry preferred
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
    • Ability to multitask across multiple systems in a fast-paced office setting
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Must be able to work in an office setting.
    • This position is administrative in nature and will require the ability to sit, talk, or hear; frequently required to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift up to 5 pounds.
